Weekly Bowls Notice 7 October, 2024

Social Bowls on Wednesday we had 16 bowlers. Winners were Des Schuman, Michelle Babich. Runners up were Goeff Monley, Ken House. No Social Bowls were played today due to the long weekend. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. Ritchie Clutterbuck Memorial Pairs will be played this coming weekend. Come on down to the Club and see some fantastic bowls being played. 

  All Bowls draws for the 2024-2025 season are now posted up on the Noticeboard and beside the Noticeboard. Draws are available in Bowlslink. The following games have been set down for the weekend of 19 and 20 October. Saturday 19 October, 10am start. Major Singles. Peter Ahoy plays Maddi Woodward, marker Duncan McLean. Todd Fuller plays Peter Doyle, marker Shane Bowden. Minor Singles, 10am start. Chris Moy plays Michael Coombes, marker Marj South. Adrian Whitton plays Laurie Williams, marker Helen Alexander. Claude McFayden plays Rosie Fuller, marker Sammi Robinson. Sunday 20 October. Major Singles, 10am start. Keith Miller plays Richard Kembrey, marker Garry Davis. Brad Dade plays Paul Bullen, marker Matt Fletcher. Mixed Pairs, 10am start. Elsie Clarke, Laurie Williams play Tom Inman, Rosie Fuller.

 Nominations for the upcoming Open Pennant season are on the noticeboard. Place your name on the sheet if you are interested in playing. Entries are now open for the State Championship Singles for all five disciplines. State Men’s Singles, State Women’s Singles, Senior Men’s Singles, Senior Women’s Singles, Open Reserve Singles. Members have a selection of 4 locations to qualify. Winners of each Section progress to the Finals on 2 February 2025 at Armidale City Bowling Club. Entries must be placed into Bowlslink with payment to secure entry.
