No Social Bowls played on Wednesday due to the weather. Monday social bowls we had 7 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Michelle Babich, John Waters. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

What a fantastic success the Richie Clutterbuck carnival was over the weekend. Thank you to all involved in making this carnival a success. 1^st place – D Wilcox, J McIlwain (Guyra) 5 wins + 102. 2^nd place – J Thomas, S Hamilton (Glen Innes/Inverell RSM) 5 wins + 93. 3^rd place – T Fuller, S Fuller (Armidale) 4 wins, 1 draw + 99. 4^th place – L McIntyre, C Kliendienst (Armidale/Guyra) 4 wins, 1 loss + 90. 5^th place – C Holden, D McLean (Armidale) 4 wins, 1 loss +83. 6^th place M Cummings, T Coates (Bateau Bay) 4 wins, 1 loss + 82. Nominations for the upcoming Open Pennant season are on the noticeboard. Place your name on the sheet if you are interested in playing. Entries are now open for the State Championship Singles for all five disciplines. State Men’s Singles, State Women’s Singles, Senior Men’s Singles, Senior Women’s Singles, Open Reserve Singles. Members have a selection of 4 locations to qualify. Winners of each Section progress to the Finals on 2 February 2025 at Armidale City Bowling Club. Entries must be placed into Bowlslink with payment to secure entry. Entries close 21 October 2024.
