Weekly Bowls Notice 6 October – 2025

Social bowls Wednesday 1 October, we had 19 players. Winners were Ron Ungerford, Geoff Monley, Paul Clarke. Runners up were Marj South, Greg Hargreaves. Monday 6 October social bowls, we had 12 players. Winners were Paul Clarke, John Waters. Runners up were Claude McFayden, Elfie Brunner. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Due to the Richie Clutterbuck Memorial Carnival, no bowls have been scheduled for this coming weekend.

Peter Doyle and Steve Fuller are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

We have some travelling bowlers visiting from East Maitland Bowling Club in October from 24 – 26. They are looking forward to visiting our Club and playing some bowls. Bowls will be Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. Please place your name on the list.

Open Pennants 2025-2026 will start in February 2026 and it will run for 6 weeks up until 28/29 March. Please place your name on the list provided if you are interested in playing in the Open Pennant season. Nominations will close on 10 November.

Due to renovations, we no longer have a Bowls information area. Weekly Bowls Notice and Draw(s) will be placed on the temporary wall close to the Bar. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this folder regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Information is also available on the Club’s website and Facebook page.
