Weekly Bowls Notice 13 October – 2025

Social bowls Wednesday 8 October, we had 11 players. Winners were Victor Ng, Des Schuman, Joe Lankester. Runners up were Marie Knight, Judy Hoenger, Gary Jackson. Monday 13 October social bowls, we had 10 players. Winners were Carol Farr-Wharton, Paul Clarke. Runners up were John Lankester, Laurie Judd. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

The Annual Richie Clutterbuck Memorial Pairs was held over the weekend and what a great weekend it was. Thank you to all of those involved in helping make this carnival a success. Congratulations to the following bowlers who were in the prize money.

North West Fours are being held over the weekend and best of luck to the following bowlers representing our club. Senior Men’s Fours: Peter Doyle, Graham Bourke, Terry McMillan, Gavin Latham. Open Reserve Fours: Paul Wadleigh, Rosie Fuller, Marj South, Laurie Judd.

We have some travelling bowlers visiting from East Maitland Bowling Club in October from 24 – 26. They are looking forward to visiting our Club and playing some bowls. Bowls will be Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. Please place your name on the list.

Open Pennants 2025-2026 will start in February 2026 and it will run for 6 weeks up until 28/29 March. Please place your name on the list provided if you are interested in playing in the Open Pennant season. Nominations will close on 10 November.

Due to renovations, we no longer have a Bowls information area. Weekly Bowls Notice and Draw(s) will be placed on the temporary wall close to the Bar. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this folder regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Information is also available on the Club’s website and Facebook page.
