Weekly Bowls Notice 4 August – 2025

Wednesday social bowls we had 12 players. Winners were Lucy Harrison, John Waters, Paul Clarke. Runners up were Des Schuman, Reg Battersby, Mal Turner. Social bowls Monday we had 6 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Laurie Judd, Victor Ng. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

No games were played over the weekend due to the snowy weather.

Bowls Presentation Day – has been postponed. New date to be advised.

Col Holden and Chris Moy are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

Armidale City will be hosting the North West Championships in Women’s Senior Pairs on 9 August. Best of luck to the following players representing our Club. Rosie Fuller, Marj South. 

North West Bowls will be having their AGM on Saturday 9 August commencing at 10am at Barraba Bowling Club.

Due to renovations, we no longer have a Bowls information area. Weekly Bowls Notice and Draw(s) will be placed on the temporary wall close to the Bar. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this folder regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Information is also available on the Club’s website and Facebook page.
