Weekly Bowls Notice 27 July – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 22 July we had 12 players. Winners were Michelle Babich, Paul Clarke, John Waters. Runners up were Campbell Schubert, Des Schuman, Laurie Judd. Social bowls played on Monday 27 July we had 14 players. Winners were Judy Hoenger, Andrew Carey. Runners up were Campbell Schubert, Vicky Latham. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. 

Results from games played over the weekend

Major-Minor Boxed Pairs: Lee Robinson, Todd Fuller defeated Helen Alexander, Graham Bourke 26-14.
Major-Minor Boxed Fours: Rosie Fuller, Gary Jackson, Lindsay McIntyre, Peter Ahoy defeated Claude McFayden, Adrian Whitton, Matt Fletcher, Mick Pennell 26-12. 
Major Fours: Cahill McIntyre, Mark Carey, Graham Bourke, Gavin Latham defeated Lee Robinson, Torsten Vestergaard, Terry McMillan, Sammi Robinson 23-17. This was a terrific game from start to finish. 16 all on the 17th end, Gav’s team pulled away from here to win the game.

Bowls NSW has released the season calendar from July 2026 – December 2026 whilst we transition back to a normal bowls calendar year. This calendar is posted on the noticeboard.

Upcoming carnivals: Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

BOWLS FEES FOR THE 2026/2027 FINANCIAL YEAR WILL COST $50 AND ARE NOW DUE. FEES TO BE PAID NO LATER THAN 31 JULY 2026.
