Weekly Bowls Notice 20 July – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 15 July we had 16 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Victor Ng, Laurie Judd. Runners up were Judy Hoenger, Vicky Latham, Marj South. Social bowls played on Monday 20 July we had 12 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Laurie Judd. Runners up were Des Schuman, Victor Ng. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Mick Pennell and Paul Bullen are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

Major-Minor Boxed Pairs: Sammi Robinson, Tom Inman defeated Andrew Carey, Gavin Latham 18-15. A fantastic game for spectators to see.
Major-Minor Boxed Fours: Terry Ogilvie (sub), Sammi Robinson, Gavin Latham, Tom Inman were too strong against John Waters, Victor Ng, Brad Dade (sub), Paul Bullen defeating them 24-12.

Bowls NSW has released the season calendar from July 2026 – December 2026 whilst we transition back to a normal bowls calendar year. This calendar is posted on the noticeboard.

Upcoming carnivals: Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

 

BOWLS FEES FOR THE 2026/2027 FINANCIAL YEAR WILL COST $50 AND ARE NOW DUE. FEES TO BE PAID NO LATER THAN 31 JULY 2026.

Di Richter has for sale some small jars of Grip and Polish for all sports.
