Weekly Bowls Notice 13 July – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 8 July we had 10 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, John Lankester, Des Schuman. Runners up were Reg Battersby, Laurie Judd. Social bowls played on Monday 13 July we had 12 players. Winners were Victor Ng, John Waters. Runners up were Paul Clarke, Laurie Judd. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Saturday 18 July – 9.30am start

Major-Minor Boxed Pairs. Andrew Carey, Gavin Latham play Sammi Robinson, Tom Inman.

Sunday 19 July – 9.30am start

Major-Minor Boxed Fours. John Waters, Victor Ng, Matt Fletcher, Paul Bullen play Brian Charter, Sammi Robinson, Gavin Latham, Tom Inman.

Elsie Clarke and Laurie Williams are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle. 

Bowls NSW has released the season calendar from July 2026 – December 2026 whilst we transition back to a normal bowls calendar year. This calendar is posted on the noticeboard.

Upcoming carnivals: Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

BOWLS FEES FOR THE 2026/2027 FINANCIAL YEAR WILL COST $50 AND ARE NOW DUE. FEES TO BE PAID NO LATER THAN 31 JULY 2026.

Di Richter has for sale some small jars of Grip and Polish for all sports.

It is highly recommended. If you would like to purchase a jar, please see Di Richter. A sample jar is available at Reception.

GRADE 2 PENNANT PLAYERS, A MEETING WILL BE HELD SUNDAY 19 JULY AT 1.30PM. PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING, SO BREAKFAST AND LUNCHES CAN BE ORGANISED PRIOR TO THE TRIP.
