Social bowls Wednesday 12 August we had 12 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, John Lankester, Marj South. Runners up were Joe Lankester, Michelle Babich, Des Schuman. Social bowls played on Monday 17 August we had 10 players. Winners were Ken House, Di Richter. Runners up were John Lankester, Paul Clarke, Des Schuman. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Minor Pairs Final: Congratulations to Des Schuman, John Waters in defeating Bruce Wadleigh, Ken House 23-8. A great season for John, winning the Minor Singles as well.
Major Fours: Paul Wadleigh, Dale Smith, Lindsay McIntyre, Peter Doyle defeated Peter Ahoy, Terry Ogilvie (sub), Richard Kembrey, Chris Moy 25-20.
Major-Minor Boxed Fours: Col Holden, Des Schuman, Duncan McLean, Steve Fuller defeated Bruce Wadleigh, Cahill McIntyre, Paul Clarke, Laurie Judd 22-11.

On behalf of everyone at the Armidale City Bowling Club, we would like to wish the Grade 2 Open Pennant teams the very best of luck when they compete at the State Finals this coming weekend at the Guildford Bowling Club. The bowlers are: Paul Wadleigh, Lindsay McIntyre, Tom Inman, Todd Fuller, Peter Ahoy, Peter Doyle, Matt Fletcher, Steve Fuller, Graham Bourke Laurie Judd, Paul Bullen Gavin Latham. Reserve is Brad Dade and managed by Kevin Cundy.

Todd Fuller (someone to fill in for Todd as he is away at State Pennants) and Jason Prince are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

Nominations are now up on the Noticeboard for the 2026 Major Singles. Nominations close 16 August, please read note regarding these matches.
A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
