Weekly Bowls Notice 24 August 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 19 August we had 16 players. Winners were Paul Clarke, Victor Ng. Runners up were Annette Pullar (Urunga), Des Schuman. Social bowls played on Monday 24 August we had 15 players. Winners were Michelle Babich, Ken House, Victor Ng. Runners up were Judy Hoenger, Des Schuman, Paul Clarke. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. 

Games set down for this coming weekend:

Saturday 29 August: 9.30am start.

Major Triples: Paul Wadleigh, Peter Doyle, Gavin Latham play Graeme Heffernan, Lee Robinson, Sammii Robinson.

Sunday 30 August: 10.00am start.

Major-Minor Boxed Pairs Final. Lee Robinson, Todd Fuller play Sammii Robinson, Tom Inman.

Steve Fuller and Peter Doyle are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.



Due to lack of entries for the Major Singles Club Championship 2026, this competition will no longer go ahead.

Upcoming carnivals:

Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard.
