Weekly Bowls Notice 17 November – 2025

Social bowls, Wednesday 12 November we had 12 players. Winners were Gary Jackson, Campbell Schubert, and Des Schuman. Runners-up were Reg Battersby, John Waters, and Laurie Judd. Social bowls, Monday 17 November, we had 12 players. Winners were Ken House and Laurie Judd. Runners-up were Paul Clarke and Des Schuman. Social Bowls are played every Monday and Wednesday - names in by 12.30 pm for a 12.45 pm start. Phone the club on 6772 5666.

The travelling bowlers from Cardiff Men’s Bowling Club had a terrific time here at our Club. It was wonderful having them here, and we all had a great weekend.

Results from games played over the weekend: Major Singles. Tom Inman defeated Clifford Smith 25-22 in a very thrilling game right to the end. Todd Fuller defeated Maddy Woodward 25-2. Major Pairs. Graham Bourke, Gavin Latham defeated Peter Doyle, Steve Fuller 17-9.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to

play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard.   All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
