Weekly Bowls Notice 9 October, 2023

Monday Social Bowls we had 12 bowlers. Winners were Paul Clarke, Des Schuman. Runners up were Claude McFayden, Pam McFayden. Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results from games played over the weekend. Open Singles. Todd Fuller defeated Richard Kembrey 25-5. Major Singles. Steve Fuller defeated Brad Dade 25-8. Major Pairs. Mark Carey, Tom Inman defeated Bill Dexter, Brodie Dexter 23-14.

No games have been set down for this weekend.

The Club will be running a Twilight Bowls competition on Thursday nights, starting at 6pm. The cost per person will be $5.

Twilight will start on Thursday 12 October. Names to be in by 5.30pm by phoning the club on 6772 5666. There will be Winner and Runner up prizes.

 This coming weekend the Club will be hosting the Richie Clutterbuck Memorial Pairs Carnival. This carnival now has a BA (Bowls Australia) ranking. Come on down to the Club over the weekend to see some terrific bowls being played.

 If you are interested in the Club’s Mixed Pairs, please put your name down on the Nomination Sheet posted on the Noticeboard. Nominations close Monday 30 October, 2023. Entry forms are now available for the Major Minor Open Triples Carnival to be held on Sunday 26 November.

 The Armidale City Bowling Club will be hosting “Get on the Green Days”. Sunday 22 October at 10am and Sunday 29 October at 1.30pm.

All equipment is provided, $2.50 social membership is required, Flat Sole shoes to be worn. Come on down and try a game of bowls. Please contact the club on 6772 5666 if you are interested. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play.
