Weekly Bowls Notice 28 September 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 30 September we had 10 players. Winners were Judy Hoenger, Geoff Monley. Runners up were Gavin Latham, Peter McFarland, Reg Battersby. Social bowls wasn’t played on Monday 5 October due to the weather. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Saturday 10 October – 9.30am start

Major Singles. Rosie Fuller plays Duncan McLean, marker Lindsay McIntyre.

Major Singles. Brad Dade plays Steve Fuller, marker Matt Fletcher.

Major Singles. Winner of Ogilvie vs Judd game to play Tom Inman, marker Mick Pennell.

Sunday 11 October – 9.30am start

Major Fours. Todd Fuller, Peter Robinson, Tom Inman, Steve Fuller play Duncan McLean, Andrew Carey, Mick Pennell, Paul Bullen.

Peter Ahoy and Paul Wadleigh are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

Upcoming carnivals:

Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website. Nominations are filling up quickly and limited to 32 teams.

Unfortunately, due to lack of nominations, the Minor Pairs Round Robin competition will not be going ahead.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
