Weekly Bowls Notice 28 September 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 23 September we had 12 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Des Schuman, Terry Ogilvie. Runners up were Joe Lankester*, Di Richter, John Waters. Social bowls played on Monday 28 September we had 8 players. Winner was Paul Clarke x 2. Runners up were Joe Lankester, Marj South. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. Social bowls will be held on Monday 5 October (public holiday) 

No games have been scheduled for this coming weekend.

ATTENTION MINOR BOWLERS:

A Round Robin Minor Pairs competition is going to be held from 10 October – 28 November for 8 weeks. This competition is being held to fill in the gap between now and the end of the year. If you are interested in participating in this competition, please add your teams/names to the nomination list. Entries will close Monday 5 October at 5pm. Matches to commence on 10 October.

Dale Smith is rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.

Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website. 

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
