Weekly Bowls Notice 28 August, 2023

 Monday Social Bowls we had 13 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Ken House and Marj South.

 Runners up were John Lankester and Torsten Vestergaard.

Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results of games played over the weekend. Major Singles. Paul Bullen defeated Richard Kembrey 25-11.

Games set down for Saturday 2nd September, 10.00am start. Minor Singles. Terry Ogilvie plays Paul Wadleigh, marker Ian Jones.  Minor Singles. Malcolm Potts plays Chris Moy, marker Kevin Cundy.

Good luck to the Bowlers representing the Club who are bowling in the Zone 3 State Championships in Mens State Singles, Mens Senior Singles and Open Reserve Singles, this coming weekend.

 If you are interested in the Club’s Mixed Pairs, please put your name down on the Nomination Sheet posted on the Noticeboard. Nominations close Monday 30th October, 2023.

All Bowls Fees must have been paid by now, if not, you are not allowed to bowl in any club games, Zone or State games. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Acting Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play.
