Weekly Bowls Notice 22 June – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 17 June we had 13 players. Winners were Reg Battersby, Victor Ng. Runners up were Ken House, Des Schuman. Social bowls played on Monday 22 June we had 10 players. Winners were John Waters, John Lankester. Runners up were Campbell Schubert, Joe Lankester, Mal Turner. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

 Minor Triples. Col Holden, Bruce Wadleigh, Chris Moy defeated Des Schuman, Terry Ogilvie (sub), John Waters 26-13. 

Open Singles. Claude McFayden forfeited to Tom Inman. 

Open Singles. Steve Fuller defeated Mick Pennell 25-11. 

Open Singles. Brad Dade defeated Victor Ng 27-18. 

Minor Singles. Col Holden defeated Andrew Carey 25-12.

Paul Wadleigh and Adrian Whitton are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle.  

Bowls NSW has released the season calendar from July 2026 – December 2026 whilst we transition back to a normal bowls calendar year. This calendar is posted on the noticeboard.

Upcoming carnivals: Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

BOWLS FEES FOR THE 2026/2027 FINANCIAL YEAR WILL COST $50 AND ARE NOW DUE. PLEASE PAY YOUR FEES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
