Weekly Bowls Notice 2 February – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 28 January we had 11 players. Winners were Reg Battersby, Di Richter, Marj South. Runners up were Joe Lankester, Ken House, Des Schuman. Social bowls Monday 2 February we had 9 players. Winners were Ken House, John Waters. Runners up were Michelle Babich, Di Richter. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. 

Best of luck to our bowlers, Gavin Latham, Peter Doyle, Steve Fuller and Todd Fuller bowling in the Inter-Zone over at Yamba this week.

Major Singles. Congratulations to Todd Fuller winning the Major Singles 25-23 against his father, Steve Fuller. Todd is now eligible to enter the Champion of Champion Singles.

Sami Robinson and Peter Robinson are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle. A new roster for 2026 is posted on the noticeboard. Please make sure you view this roster to see when you have been rostered on.

Champion of Champion Singles entries close 11 February. 

Open Pennant draws are now available in Bowlslink.

Round 1 starts Saturday 14 February, 2026.

Grade 1/2 plays Inverell RSM at ACBC commencing at 1pm.

Grade 5 plays Glen Innes at ACBC commencing at 1pm.

Grade 7 has the bye for round 1. Round 2 Grade 7 plays Bendemeer commencing at 1pm at ACBC.

We are looking for a manager for Grade 2 and Grade 5, if you would like to help, please contact Rosie Fuller at the Club.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard.  All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Pennant Teams: A list of pennant teams for round 1 will be placed on the noticeboard very shortly.
