Weekly Bowls Notice 1 September – 2025

Wednesday social bowls on 27 August we had 14 players. Winners were John Waters, Marj South, Joe Lankester. Runners up were Pam McFayden, Helen Alexander. Social bowls Monday 1 September we had 16 players. Winners were Marie Knight, John Waters. Runners up were Carol Farr-Wharton, Des Schuman. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results of games played over the weekend:

Mixed Pairs. Rosie Fuller, Tom Inman defeated Peter Robinson, Lee Robinson 14-12. Marj South, Steve Fuller defeated Helen Alexander, Graham Bourke 19-16. Major-Minor Boxed Pairs. Helen Alexander, Graham Bourke defeated Paul Bullen, Cahill McIntyre 26-20.

Due to the Club’s Versatility Fours Carnival this coming weekend, there will be no Club games set down.

Entries are now open for Bowls NSW Championships for Men’s State Triples, Women’s State Triples, Men’s Senior Triples, Women’s Senior Triples and Open Reserve Triples. Entries close 8 September on Bowlslink.

Due to renovations, we no longer have a Bowls information area. Weekly Bowls Notice and Draw(s) will be placed on the temporary wall close to the Bar. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this folder regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Information is also available on the Club’s website and Facebook page.
