Weekly Bowls Notice 19 May – 2025

Social Bowls on Monday we had 14 players. Winners were Marj South, Paul Clarke. Runners up were Pam McFayden, Laurie Judd. Social Bowls held on Wednesday we had 14 players. Winners were Joe Lankester, Ken House, Reg Battersby. Runners up were Campbell Schubert, Di Richter, Victor Ng. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results from games played over the weekend. Open Singles. Steve Fuller defeated Victor Ng 25-16. Gavin Latham defeated Paul Wadleigh 25-7. Minor Fours. Claude McFayden, Gary Jackson, Michael Coombes, Victor Ng defeated Campbell Schubert, Bruce Wadleigh, Ken House. Reg Battersby 25-8.  

Best of luck to Steve Fuller and Peter Doyle who are playing in the Men’s Senior Inter-Region Championships at Cabramatta Bowling Club from 20-23 May. Best of luck to Todd Fuller who is playing in the Men’s Inter-Region Championships at Mount Lewis Bowling Club from 24-26 May.

The Open Triples – Major Minor carnival will be held on Saturday 14 June. Total Prizemoney is $2700. Entry Fee is $90 per team which includes a light BBQ Lunch. Please see Rosie Fuller for more information.

Bowls Presentation Day – Sunday 13 July commencing at 1pm in the Auditorium. 

Due to renovations, we no longer have a Bowls information area. All Bowls draws and information will be kept in a folder at Reception. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this folder regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Information is also available on the Club’s website and Facebook page.
