Weekly Bowls Notice 17 July, 2023

 Monday Social Bowls we had 14 players. Winners were Des Schuman, Benny Wilson. Runners up were Elfie Brunner, Marj South.

Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results from the weekend’s games. Major Triples. Paul Clarke, Malcolm Turner, Peter Doyle defeated Cahill McIntyre, Dale Smith, Lindsay McIntyre 36-8, declared at 22 ends. Congratulations to Paul Bullen, Lindsay McIntyre, Gavin Latham on winning their game in the Zone 3 Men’s State Triples.

They now play in the Finals to be held at the Armidale City Bowling Club on 5th and 6th August.

Tom Inman plays Ian Jones, marker Todd Fuller. Minor Singles. Michael Coombes plays Andrew Carey, marker Rosie Fuller. All bowlers who haven’t paid their fees yet, must do so before you can play your next event. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Mal Potts on the day of play.
