Social bowls Wednesday 2 September we had 12 players. Winners were Ken House, Campbell Schubert. Runners up were Paul Clarke, John Waters. Social bowls played on Monday 7 September we had 16 players. Winners were Victor Ng, John Waters. Runner up was Paul Clarke x 2. Social bowls Wednesday 9 September we had 14 players. Winners were Ken House, Laurie Judd. Runners up were Judy Hoenger, Paul Clarke, John Waters. Social bowls played Monday 14 September we had 9 players. Winners were John Lankester, Geoff Monley, Paul Clarke. Runners up were John Lankester, Judy Hoenger, Campbell Schubert. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Major Singles: Tom Inman defeated Ken House 25-5. Paul Wadleigh defeated Peter Doyle 25-23. Mal Turner defeated Peter Ahoy 25-15. Brad Dade defeated Torsten Vestergaard 26-3. John Waters won on a forfeit from Clifford Smith.
Versatility Fours carnival
The Club held another successful Versatility Fours carnival over the weekend. Congratulations to the winning team of Sammii Robinson, Rosie Fuller, Steve Fuller and Tom Inman with 4 wins, 1 loss + 82. 2nd place went to Adrian Whitton, Paul Clarke, Richard Kembrey, Peter Doyle with 3 wins, 2 losses + 70. 3rd place went to Paul Wadleigh, Peter Robinson, Chris Kliendienst, Lee Robinson with 3 wins, 2 losses + 60. 4th place went to Terry Ogilvie, Andrew Carey, Paul Bullen, Lindsay McIntyre with 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss + 68. Special prize draw went to Terry McMillan’s team and Graham Bourke’s team.

Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.
Nominations are now open for the Inter-Region Championships. Open Men and Senior Men will be played in Moree on Saturday 17 October at 9.30am. Women’s will be played in Moree on Sunday 18 October at 9.30am.

Please don’t forget the Armidale City Bowling Club’s AGM is being held on Sunday 20 September commencing at 10am in the Club.
A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard. All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception. Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
