Weekly Bowls Notice 7 August, 2023

Monday Social Bowls we had 12 players. Winners were Marj South and John Waters. Runners up were Michelle Babich and Terry Burton.

Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Results of games played over the weekend. Major Singles. Brad Dade defeated Paul Clarke 25-15. Open Singles. Terry Ogilvie defeated Paul Wadleigh 26 – 4. Minor Singles. Rosie Fuller defeated Ronnie Sullivan 31-4.

Games set down for Saturday 19th August, 10.00am start. Minor Singles. Torsten Vestergaard plays Mal Potts, marker Terry Ogilvie.

Minor Singles. Scott Froome plays Fred Swanson, marker Laurie Williams. Sunday 20th August, 10.00am start.

Major Singles. Graham Bourke plays Lindsay McIntyre, marker Dale Smith. Major Pairs. Ian Jones, Brad Dade play Kyle Brodbeck, Terry McMillan.

Pennants 2023 is being played in November, if you are interested in playing pennants, please put your name down on the list which is located on the Notice Board. Closing date is Monday 28th August.

All Bowls Fees must have been paid by now, if not, you are not allowed to bowl in any club games, Zone or State games. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Acting Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play.
