Weekly Bowls Notice 3 June, 2024

Social Bowls today we had 10 bowlers, played in very cold conditions.  Winners were John Waters, Judy Hoenger. Runners up were Brad White, Paul Clarke and Michelle Babich. Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. No Social Bowls on Monday 10 June due to the King’s Birthday weekend. Games set down for next week. Tuesday 11 June, 10.00am start. Mixed Fours. Helen Alexander, Malcolm Turner, Terry Ogilvie, Richard Kembrey play Judy Hoenger, Marj South, Margaret Macgregor, Graham Bourke. Games set down for Saturday 22 June, 9.30am start. Minor Triples Final. Helen Alexander, Rosie Fuller, Marj South play Claude McFayden, Brad White, Victor Ng. Games set down for Sunday 23 June, 10.00am start. Open Singles.  Tom Inman plays Todd Fuller, marker Lindsay McIntyre. Nominations are now on the noticeboard for the 2024/2025 Club Championship bowls season, closing date is 30 June. Men’s Regional Fours closing date is Monday 18 June. Women’s Regional Fours and Senior Fours, closing date Monday 18 June. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play. There are quite a few bowlers who haven’t paid their money yet, please do so as soon as possible.
