Weekly Bowls Notice 2 March – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 25 February we had 14 players. Winners were Victor Ng, Ken House, Joe Lankester. Runners up were Laurie Judd, Di Richter, Paul Clarke. Social bowls Monday 2 March we had 9 players. Winners were Ken House, Des Schuman. Runners up were Michelle Babich, Mal Turner. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Pennants: Grade 2 had the bye. Grade 5 defeated Uralla 8-2.  Grade 7 defeated Uralla 9-1. Major-Minor Boxed Fours. Terry Ogilvie (sub), Sammi Robinson, Gavin Latham, Tom Inman defeated Torsten Vestergaard Marj South, Pam McFayden, Peter Robinson 25-8. Open Singles. Victor Ng defeated Andrew Carey 25-14.

Grade 5 Round 4 played at Glen Innes Bowling Club. Armidale versus Glen Innes.

Grade 7 has the bye

No games have been scheduled for Sunday 8 March.

Todd Fuller and Jason Prince are rostered on for Friday night’s 100 Club raffle. 

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard.   All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.
