Weekly Bowls Notice 1 June – 2026

Social bowls Wednesday 27 May was cancelled due to the wet weather. Social bowls played on Monday 1 June we had 14 players. Winners were Ken House, Di Richter, John Waters. Runners up were Judy Hoenger, Geoff Monley. Social Bowls played every Monday and Wednesday, names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

Congratulations to Rosie Fuller, Tom Inman winning the Mixed Pairs Final on Saturday against Paul Bullen, Maddy Woodward winning 21-11.

Major Triples. Clifford Smith, Brad Dade, Matt Fletcher defeated Peter Ahoy, Richard Kembrey, Terry McMillan 29-19. Major Triples. A fantastic game was played here, Tom Inman, Steve Fuller, Todd Fuller were down 19-9 on the 16th end to fight back and claim victory 20-27 over Lindsay McIntyre, Dale Smith, Cahill McIntyre. Minor Singles. Col Holden defeated Des Schuman 25-13. Minor Singles. Victor Ng defeated Marj South 22-25 in a very close game. Minor Singles.  John Waters defeated Lee Robinson 25-17. Minor Singles.  Andrew Carey defeated Chris Moy 25-20 in another close game. Open Singles. Paul Wadleigh defeated Rosie Fuller 25-10. Open Singles. What a fantastic game between Mick Pennell and Dale Smith, neck and neck all the way until Mick claimed victory, winning 25-23.

Bowls NSW has released the season calendar from July 2026 – December 2026 whilst we transition back to a normal bowls calendar year. This calendar is posted on the noticeboard.

Upcoming carnivals: Versatility Fours on 12 and 13 September, 2026. Richie Clutterbuck Memorial 3 Bowl Open Pairs on 7 and 8 November, 2026. Nominations are available at Reception or can be downloaded from the ACBC website.

A Noticeboard has been put up on the wall where the Juke Box used to be (heading towards the back green). All Bowls Draws and information will be placed on this board. Please ensure you come into the Club and check this noticeboard regularly to see when you are set down to play/mark. Game Cards can be collected from this noticeboard.   All Bowls draws and information will also be kept in a folder at Reception.  Information is also available on the Club’s website, Facebook page or by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

BOWLS FEES FOR THE 2026/2027 FINANCIAL YEAR WILL COST $50 AND ARE NOW DUE. PLEASE PAY YOUR FEES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
