Weekly Bowls Notice 13 May, 2024

Social Bowls played today, we had 16 players turn up. Winners were Alan Lang, Ken House and John Waters. Runners up Judy Hoenger and Paul Clarke. Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666. Results from games played today. Open Singles. Gavin Latham defeated Lindsay McIntyre 25 – 22 in a closely contested game.

Rosie Fuller plays Andrew Carey, marker Richard Kembrey. Sunday 19 May. Minor Pairs Final. 9.30am start. Claude McFayden, Victor Ng play Michael Coombes, Paul Wadleigh. Sunday 19 May, 10am start. Open Singles. Tom Inman plays Todd Fuller, marker Terry Ogilvie.

A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play. There are quite a few bowlers who haven’t paid their money yet, please do so as soon as possible.
