Weekly Bowls Notice 22 April, 2024

Social Bowls today, we had 12 players turn up. Winners were Elfie Brunner and Benny Wilson. Runners up were Judy Hoenger and Kenny White (visitor). Social Bowls played every Monday, names in by 12.30pm for a 12.45pm start by phoning the club on 6772 5666.

There will be no games set down for this coming weekend due to Round 6 of Pennants.  An updated list of Pennant Teams has been posted next to the noticeboard. Please check teams carefully, as changes have been made. Round 6 is the last round of Open Pennants. Grade 2 travel to Inverell to play Inverell RSM. Grade 6 have the bye. Grade 7 are at home against Guyra.

A bus has been organised to take Grade 2 to Inverell, please meet at the club no later than 8.15am, bus is leaving at 8.30am. Best of luck to Mark Carey and Tom Inman who will be travelling to Sydney next Monday to compete in the State Champion of Champion Pairs. A reminder to all bowlers that it will cost you $5 per event that you have entered in the Club Championships, payable to the Games Manager, Rosie Fuller on the day of play. There are quite a few bowlers who haven’t paid their money yet, please do so as soon as possible.
